The garnet intaglio finely incised with a dove facing right, an olive sprig in its mouth, a cross above, the oval bezel of ancient high karat gold and decorated with a border of granulation.
Dimensions: US ring size: 7 1/2
Condition: The intaglio is intact and in excellent condition, a modern 18K gold shank attached to the back of the bezel.
Provenance: Private Texas collection, acquired in the 1960's and then by descent.
