A fine Luristan bronze Ibex, ca. early first millennium BCE

Stylized bronze ibex depicted with high curving horns, and slender body in a charming pose.  Pierced for attachment on the shoulder.

Dimensions: Height: 1 3/4 inches(4.4 cm), Length: 2 inches (5 cm)

Condition: Green-brown surface with a few traces of scattered surface deposits. Intact, overall excellent condition.

Provenance: Alex Malloy private collection, acquired in the 1980s
