A Chinese Offering Table with Offerings, Ming Dynasty, ca. 1368 - 1644

Green and straw color glazed pottery table with four tall cylindrical legs. Set with eight different offering plates, including a pigs head, a fish, a bird, two stacked fruit plates, stacked log rolls and two stacks of bow tie forms.

Dimensions:  Table Height: 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm), Width: 10 3/4 inches (27.35 cm)

Condition: Most of the offerings have a few minor edge chips but otherwise they are intact and in excellent condition overall.

Provenance: Private PA collection, acquired from The Menagerie, Phila., about 2000, thereafter private collection of Peter Borromeo, Virginia
