Appalonia Dress by Atèlette

Construction: Blending the details from a 1940s peignoir and a 1970s day dress, the Appalonia is a midi length dress that features a v-neckline bedecked with a cascading ruffle, diamond waist, and multi gored skirt. Our favorite detail are the split ruffle sleeves with functional drawstring silken ribbon ties in a deep currant red. Self ties at the sides of waist and hidden side zipper complete this garment.

Fabric: Custom 18th Century reproduction fabric originally part of a bed canopy. The fabric is a softly weighted rayon that handles like well worn cotton. Fabric is sanforized and dye has been tested for color fastness. Fabric is not sheer though due to the light background, we recommend skin toned undergarments. Garment is lined along the waist.

Care Instructions: Hand wash on its own in lukewarm water with color safe gentle detergent. Hang or lay flat to dry. You may also choose to Dry Clean this garment.
