An Egyptian Blue-glazed Oil Cup, Dynasty 26, ca. 664-525 BCE

The rounded cup with slightly everted rim tapers before widening to a flat disk foot the front with incised hieroglyphs, filled in blue.

Condition: Glaze worn thin around inside of rim, minor age appropriate wear, modern black and red pigment on base.  Intact and in very good condition.

Dimensions: Height 1.75 inches (4.4 centimeters)
