An Egyptian Gold Amulet, Roman Period, ca. 1st - 2nd Century CE

This finely carved amulet of a man, the head naturalistically detailed, the arms bent with hands under the chin, the abdominal muscles and naval depicted.

Condition: Intact and in good condition overall, with suspension loop at the back

Provenance: Private Swiss collection acquired prior to 1972.
