The PERRIN Steering Rack Lockdown improves driver feedback and steering sensation. PERRIN Steering Rack Lockdown creates a solid connection between the steering rack and chassis. This increases driver feel and communication from the front tires while navigating those twisty bends. The PERRIN Steering Rack Lockdown creates a solid connection between the frame and the steering rack, eliminating the soft flex of the OEM bushings. Unlike other aftermarket steering rack bushings, which are merely stiffer than OEM bushings; PERRIN Lockdowns take this further with virtually zero flex. Machined from solid 6061 T6 aluminum, the PERRIN Steering Rack Lockdown is perfectly designed to bolt directly to the sub-frame and the steering rack, solidly tying the steering rack to the frame of the car. This solid connection eliminates the flexing and shifting of the rack. No special tools are required to install the lockdown.
